It's like having a new synth-PPG wave 3.V is a brilliant synth and these new sounds really show off the wide range of sounds it is capable of.
Great sounds.
Ah,

Thanks mate i didn't realise that was you hehe.. best check your email shortly.

Rob
Hi Rob,
I'm really getting into the PPG 3.V.I bought it and had a play with it and put it on the list of things to learn how to make sounds for it but never got round to it due to having no time.I'm just gonna fill it with 3rd party sounds.
Your bank of sounds are full of those sounds that will grab the dance floor of any club-briliant work.
I'm using Ingo's and Random Wave sounds for more chilled atmospheric stuff although they are great for breakdowns for trance tracks.
Really getting into using the 3.V now because having all the new sounds has really breathed new life into it.
Just been to Wolfgang Palm's page http://wolfgangpalm.com/?page_id=24

Fascinating reading.
Cheers,
Steve

I got Xenos' "1984" when it was released and liked it a lot then. I played through a number of presets yesterday, in fact, and I still like it. A lot!

Definitely worth having.

Hi Joachim,
do you have a link to Xeno's website?

Yes, i got that bank from Xenos too. Had it before i got the PPG Wave 3.V. A lot of great sounds in that soundset. I have also received an updated version for the PPG Wave 3.V not very long ago.

I have to say that all those 4 soundsets for the PPG 2.V and/or PPG 3.V (Random Wave, Rob Lee, Xenos and my own) are really great and seem to complement very well.

So far Rob Lee's and my own "Atmmospheric Transients" soundset seem to be the only ones which were directly developed for the new PPG Wave 3.V and not converted from the 2.V version.

Today i was visiting the Musikmesse 2012 in Frankfurt. Many thanks to Waldorf Music, especially Wolfram Franke and Kurt "Lu" Wangard, for invitig me to the Musikmesse.

At the booth of the "Synthesizer Magazin" a lot of vintage synths were available for playing including a PPG Wave 2.2 (and two PPG analog synths too...).
This was my first opportunity to play and fiddle with a fully working real PPG Wave 2.2.
While the sound of the "real thing" is really impressive i have to admit (or better confirm) that the new Waldorf PPG Wave 3.V is really damn close to that sound, especially when used in the "2.2" True PPG mode.

Here are a few pictures of the "real thing":

Hi everybody,

before i'll add more audio demos soon i had the idea to create a small bank of 10 prestes/patches from my "Atmospheric Transients" bank and offer this as a free download to everybody at KVR. This will include a bank file (.fxb) with the 10 presets and 7 samples which are required for those. The remaining 3 patches use the internal wavetables.
Of course you are not allowed to redistribute those presets and especially the samples.

If you are interested please send me a PM and i'll send you a download link as soon as possible.

This offer will end at the end of April.

Of course i hope that some of those who wil test those presets will also get the full bank. :)

Best wishes,
Ingo

Hi,

i did not receive any request for the free 10 presets (+ 7 samples) so far which is a bit disappointing as i had invested a lot of time for creating the presets, the samples and the presets which were used to create those samples.

To make it easier i decided to post the download link for the 10 free presets directly now:
https://rapidshare.com/files/1856168482 ... Bank_1.zip

Installation:
Please copy the folder included in the zip file into the „ Local Libray " or „User Library " of the PPG Wave 3.V Plugin. Normally the "Local Library" could be found inside the installation folder of the plugin like e.g. "\vstplugins\Waldorf\PPGWave3.V Sounds".

Of course i would be pleased to here some comments here, also from customers of the full soundbank.

---------------------------------------------------------

Those who do not own the Waldorf PPG Wave 3.V plugin so far could check the presets using an evaluation license:
http://www.waldorfmusic.de/en/ppg-3-evaluation.html
This license could be used either as an soft eLicenser on your HD drive or with an USB dongle (eLicenser).

The download of the latest version v1.02 is available here:
http://www.waldorfmusic.de/en/version-102.html

Th full version could be purchased at the Online Shop . An upgrade from the Waldorf Edition is available too:

Thanks Ingo! I own PPG Wave 3 and I love it very much, just recently started using it again. I just downloaded your free sounds and will check them out and probably buy the full bank too ;) Thanks again! Btw. there was some spaces in the link so the link didn't work first, I had to manually edit it ..
circuit modeling and 0-dfb filters are cool

Hi,

many thanks for your reply and your interest in my bank. I just corrected the link for the free presets and it should work now.
You could check the Audio demos (at the Online Shop and here) and the manual (see OP or the included files in the download above) to get an idea about the remaining sounds/presets.

Of course i did not include samples in the free bank for which i got a permission myself like the samples which i created using my own presets in e.g. Soniccouture Novachord. Of course the full bank and the free one too include also presets based on the internal wavetables and not only samples.
Besides that also new Single Cycle waves and presets processed with the Waldorf Lector Vocoder were used.
One example is included in the free bank: The preset "Robotic Pad 1 IW" (which is based on an internal wavetable) was processed with the Waldorf Lector Vocoder to create a sample which was then used for the new preset "Robotic Lector 1 IW".

Ingo,

I'd like to download your demo sounds, but be warned - I'm not into dance or club music. ;-)

However, the RapidShare link gives me an error - "Download parameters invalid - please try again later."

?

Best,

Joachim
If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Hi Joachim,

most of the bank is about pads including e.g. Vox/Choir/Vocal sounds and different Synth Strings. Of course some Synth Brass sounds (based both on samples and internal wavetables) are included too like in all of my soundbanks... :)

About the link:
I could not see any problems here. I tried with Safari for Windows and Internet Explorer. Maybe your Antivirus software blocks the download? Personally i am using Kaspersky internet Security 2011 without problems.

You could send me a PM with your email address so i could try to send the ZIP files as an attachment. The size is around 11 MB.
