i have this problem too and can't find any solution. i wonder if it's due to a custom windows install location? i have windows on partition 'Q' and my plugins are installed to a partition 'T.' i do have a 'C' drive as well, but there's nothing on it... i tried creating the font folder path on c: and putting the font in there, but that didn't do the trick.
I'd like to try these plugins, but i can't tweak unlabelled parameters. that's not fun to me anymore.

It's possible, I'm not sure. I run Win7 pretty vanilla other than latest updates from MS. I don't know what else to have you try, I'm out of ideas -- sorry.djbarry wrote:last week i did some tweaks on windows 7, like disabling services wich i dont use, can it be something in that?

i think i'm gonna re-install windows, with all its updates as well some tweaks (solid state drives user) and then im installing the plugins again!
See if that works, if not.. No U-He plugins for me, till there is an update

I miss fonts too, unless this path is existing:djbarry wrote:no problem mate, thanks anywaybmrzycki wrote:It's possible, I'm not sure. I run Win7 pretty vanilla other than latest updates from MS. Program Files/u-he/Zebra2/Data/Fonts/Vera.ttf
other U-HE synths may have installed one more folder before fonts,
Program Files/u-he/Diva/Diva.data/Data/Fonts/Vera.ttf
You could try linking the existing locations to this path.
Cheers

I registered just to tell everyone the solution.Urs wrote:![]()
(still need to prevent that in future...)
If you try installing the lucida sans unicode hich is l_10646 to your fonts folder it will not work cause windows will name it differently from l_10646.ttf
You must boot into a secondary drive. Place l_10646.ttf in your windows partition font directory then and only then it will work.
That's how I fixed it after hours of crazy trial and error. Glad I fixed it. I'm making a back up now this is never happening to me again

Thanks, we didn't know that
We did find another solution. After the font gets renamed to something different, one can change it back to l_10646 in the file properties panel. Somewhere.
Anyhow, revisiting font handling (especially drawing text) is my next major project after the current round of releases. This should solve the issue for good because we won't be relying on system fonts anymore.

- Download lucida sans unicode.
- rename it -> l_10646
- select the font, right click and choose install
