Effects to make beats more dirty?

Just throw some glitches in. Put a *very short* hi hat sample on every 16th note. Every sample should be different. Throw effects all over it like bit crusher and distortion.

If the loop is being played in it's original tempo it should sound the same, maybe you're after some kind of stretching effect?
