zebra windows where are the mseg loop start/end functions?

Nope, that does not work here. When deleting the new node set to start, the start node becomes the next node to the right.
BTW, I am using Zebra2 hz if that makes any difference.

Post

Just checked the non-hz version. Same problem.
Is anybody able to turn off loop in MSEG, or is it just me?

Post

Ok, I have found a way to turn of an MSEG loop. It is rather far from being straight forward though, so I hope a fix is on it's way.
So. To turn looping off, I have found this way: Insert two new adjacent nodes. Set the one to the left to Start and the one to the right to End. Delete the one you just sat to End. The End node will now have jumped to the left node you set to Start. Now delete that one. Tadaaa! Loop is now off.

Judging by the 2nd sentence here I think you misread what I wrote. Have another look :)
BTW If you want no release phase after the loop, set the last 2 nodes to loop start and end, then delete the final one.

Post

Yes, I misread. Also I was wrong about having found out how to turn the loop off.
However, I have reached a solid conclusion (I think) about how to make an MSEG not loop. And that is, to make it loop between two zero set nodes at the end of the MSEG. Very simple really, but easy to miss if one is looking for a genuine Loop Off.

Post

And the really silly thing is, that you (Howard) wrote it further back in this thread: "Set loop start and end both to the last point of your envelope :)
Problem was I think, that I can not set one point to both start and end (due to some problem with the context menu), and I did not think of the solution in my post right above, before now.
So, long story about almost nothing. :-D
(But I hope for a future fix, so other poor people will not go on the rather futile search I was on.)

You don't really need the context menu at all for what you want to do.
At the top of the MSEG, there is a bar counter, it also shows a bar for the loop.
Just grab one end of the loop bar, and drag it to the other end of the loop.
Sometimes the loop bar handles are a bit stubborn and don't want to move on the first try.
Just grab them again and try it one or two more times, it will work.

Ah yes. I forgot about that because, as you say, it can be "stubborn".
