(Nothing wrong with SKNote though, perfectly fine developer, only have positive experience with them.)

I have it its a amazing emulation. the updates im not really sure about I know they made it so if you want it to not saturate alot you can have that but its a good comp I use it all the timepaul psilas wrote:Regarding SKnote,I've had my eye on the Gates GTS-39 Compressor for a while now.
The GTS-39 gets great reviews but they're currently updating lots of its features so I've held back on purchasing for now.
Damn good price though,as ALL plugins should be.

the reson he does not do demos is because He does not want to waist time and coding on copy protection. even though its small it dose add cpu use to the plugin. but yea I get that it took me a while to get em. but after roundtone and presence I just got hooked the plugins are great quality and the price is retardedly low for what you get.A.M. Agreed, his prices for his more recent work are very attractive, though.
+1 for DC8C its a amazing all in one compressorLeVzi wrote:I suggest you guys check out DC8C, this thing is amazing. Such a light compressor until you get under the hood, then it can really be a beast. So glad it got suggested, it got purchased yesterday.
Massive +1 for DC8C , and it's doing what I wanted from a FET (Parallel compression mainly)
I'd love to get the rocket again at some point, but it needs a lot of work to be 100% usable in Cubase.
its not a wow its more like. it can do rms soft hard knee. it has a million diforent things it can do and saturation. im not saying its the only comp in the world. I use it all the time and I use other all the time. its a great comp that can do alot for a good price that is the wow about it.HcDoom wrote:I really don't understand this hype around DC8C? I tried it and wasn't that impressed, it's good, but not WOOOOW good.
Define a WOOOOOW Compressor ? The Glue is a wow compressor as it just works so well. Compassion is the same. I own a bag of compressors now and they just work well. And to me when something works well, thats WOW value. If it takes a long time to get where you need to be, then it's not worth it.HcDoom wrote:I really don't understand this hype around DC8C?
