Thanks for the Receptorized banks!

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but the patches don't seem to be working for me. I dropped the unzipped folders into "Drop Installers Here" and told the Receptor to install the patches (about 589 files). It took several minutes and the banks/patches show up in OP-X Pro. However, clicking on them doesn't do anything. The sound doesn't change from the default patch that OP-X started with. If I select patches in any of the other banks that came with OP-X on the Receptor those work fine. I have a VIP and very little experience with it. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Bill
Hi Bill
Are you using OP-X PRO-II? I'm asking because the banks only are compatible to OP-X PRO-II, not OP-X PRO. Since the two share the same plugin ID OP-X PRO might be able to see and load OP-X PRO-II banks, but they won't work in OP-X PRO. OP-X PRO-II has tons of new and extended features which also are used by the sounds and it also has a changed patch format. So even if compatible OP-X PRO couldn't reproduce the sounds. OP-X PRO-II on the other hand can load all former OP-X PRO banks with identical sound. So the patches and banks are upwards compatible, but not downwards.

Peter,

I think that's the problem. I own OP-X PRO-II (bought from you on 10/6/10), but the VIP came pre-loaded with OP-X PRO. I crossgraded on 10/15/12 through Plugorama to get OP-X PRO running on the VIP. Is there an easy way for me to put OP-X PRO-II on the VIP?

Actually, I just found this on your website:

http://www.sonicprojects.ch/opxpro2/musereceptor.html

I'll give that a try tonight.

Thanks for your help!

Bill
