ok, another round of thoughts.
waldorf2,4,5,7,8 - seems to slow down and speed up alot depending on keys, could use a few more multisamples (I don't know if this is possible for you guys??)
waldorf6 - seems to go out of tune at c2 and below. i think the loop is slightly flat.
spectrum0 - at D#3 and below the loop is clicking slightly.
spectrum1 - some odd noise at F2 and G2 - maybe just part of the sound?
spectrum3,4,5,6 - nice classic sounds but again more multisamples if possible.
spectrum7- faint loop clicking
spectrum8- faint loop clicking below A2
Thats all for now! I'm gonna check out the presets and maybe I'll have time for more impressions later.

BTW: Here is a chalenge, those who can help me out sending me some presets, I will give FamousKey1 SoundSet Free.
Email me the FXP files to williamk@dashsignature.com - so I would have more time to do more samples for FK2.

Thanks Floyd, but some of those problems I can't fix. The Spectrum waveforms are noise on the origin, and they are not multisampled, not even on the Roland-D50 keyboard.floyd wrote:ok, another round of thoughts.

Ok, thats all good William.
I'm having trouble loading the preset bank, though. When I try I get "Demo version doesn't load banks of presets on the song!" error. So the demo version doesn't save or load presets? Anyway, once I get the full ver I'll definitely send you some fxp's
edit - btw, Waldorf1 - much improved! Great sound.

Hi folks,
I seem to be having an odd issue here.
After downloading the file, when I right-click to launch the .exe file, my PC spikes up to over 80% CPU, freezes, and requires a hard reboot.
I've run anti-virus and anti-spyware, just in case, but they detect nothing.
Even when I try and isolate the file to delete it, my machine freezes.
This problem began immediately after the download, so either it is lated to the file or it is the mother of all coincidences.

Anyone had a similar problem?

That's a first, this is a self-extract RAR file, created with RAR. Maybe it doesn't like Windows-ME? (is that your Windows?)
I will upload a ZIP file, it will be larger, but it should work better.

Hi William,
Actually, I am running Windows 2000 here.
Another odd things is that I tried to download the .exe file to another drive and the donwload - once it reached 99% complete - started to freeze and the download time began to climb from 30 seconds left to 4 and 5 minutes before it would stall and I would have to close.
The odd thing is that I am able to download other files easily...
Puzzling...
I'll go look for the .zip
Thanks
Dan

Downloaded the file, but still no luck.
Got the following error message:
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not a Zip file, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part Zip file.
May have to wait until tomorrow to try and figure out what the problem is...

Ermmm, you went too fast for the file, it wasn't ready yet.
Now could you try again? The file is complete now.

Ok, I uploaded a new FXB with 32 presets now, some are really good. Some presets were done by Jens. BTW: Jens, I updated some presets, take a look on the bank, hope you don't mind my changes.

William, I am so in love with that Robot voice!
BTW, I'm running Win2k here and I have had no problems with either downloading that file or running it. I'm using Mozilla Firebird as my browser and I do have a copy of WinRAR...

William, just sent you an email with some patches.
I haven't noticed any more problems with the FK soundset, but I did notice something else: the 60s E-Organ in the Factory soundset has a click in its loop at G2 and below.

Tried the 32 presets. Good stuff! Well on our way to 128 good patches. Actually with this many good sounds it would be simple to do way more than that.
Anyway:
For King and Country
Multi velo Splits
Zoned
Arp Stacks
and all of the Ultra especially Ultra Synth...
are wicked! Which are yours Jens?
