I picked up an M-Audio Uno the other day. I've been having fun with TB Midi Stuff controlling my Roland JV-1010. :-) I'd like to find a good mini keyboard though. I've got a Studiologic SL-161, an M-Audio Oxygen 8, and an old controller (I can't remember the name) that has a good feel and 40+ keys. The tiny keyboards have a real spongy feel to them. I was looking at a couple of the 30+ key mini keyboards, but just didn't like the feel of them. I'd sure like to get a mini keyboard that has a good feel to it.

If you haven't tried TB Midi Stuff, I highly recommend it. It is really cheap, and works really well, and is very flexible! It's not a synth, but I figured I'd mention it. :-)

I will second TB MIDI Stuff. I have just recently started exploring this app and already have some fun plans with it. This week I'm using the drum pads to trigger a glockenspiel in bs-16i. I programmed four pads to specific notes and I play the notes in order. I'm already playing a pad sound on a keyboard with my right hand and it is a ton easier for me to hit the bs-16i pads in order than for me to use my 2nd synth and play the glockenspiel with my left hand.

As a side note, my 2nd keyboard at this particular time in the song is set to use iGrand Piano. So it's pretty cool. I have both iGrand Piano and bs-16i set to background audio. During practice last night I left TB MIDI Stuff as my foreground app and was able to trigger iGrand and bs-16i whenever I wanted. Background audio was working GREAT!!! Never had to worry about switching apps.

One of my next projects I hope to do is use TB MIDI Stuff as a program change device. I currently use an M-Audio Oxygen 49 as one of my controllers and I programmed patch changes into the buttons. I'd like to convert all of those to TB MIDI Stuff where I can have actual labels with patch names and just hit the label on screen. This will GREATLY ease my planning and prep for each week.

Just had to share here. The MS20 controller with iMS20 app is brilliant. Every control is mapped perfectly! time to twist away at new sounds....
