Hmm... Now that I'm on pc with proper sound I noticed I already used something like this. It's a factory preset for MuSynth, but forgot which one. I used it for another type of song, but it's not suitable for this more 'spiritual' track I'm thinking about.megalodonnl wrote:Thanks! You made 'm from scratch or did you tweak an existing preset?

A nice one
Is it ok to include it in the factory lib? If yes i'll raise the volume a bit though.

Hmm... which one? I haven't check them beforehead. I've done mine from scratch taking into account tips from previous posts in this thread and a hint about the synth from this thread.megalodonnl wrote:Hmm... Didn't know those songs, but yes, with a couple of effects one might get close to those sounds

@Jo
Yesterday I downloaded 4.5.2 in order to finally convert some of my old patches
In case you like any of these patches, feel free to use them:
Brazil Pad (similar to the one used by Brazilian Fusion bands such as Azymuth):

Muted Choir Pad:

Electric Bass (hitting harder makes the sound brighter):

Guitar (use bender and mod wheel):
https://www.box.com/s/bjmefnd8rhz7icaf5izq
Strings (orchestra-like, can get rather dynamic with chords and velocity):

There are so many sounds in the first few minutes alone (I didn't watch the whole video) and sometimes it is hard to tell where one sound ends and another begins. Which sound(s) in particular do you mean? Tell us the time(s) in the videodakkra wrote:How hard would it be to make these sounds?
I think creating some of those sounds is complex enough in Zebra already, so it will certainly not be any easier in Mulab. But if you have access to Zebra you could simply try and recreate a given patch component by component, emulating what you find on the Zebra GUI.

Sorry for abusing this thread, but I don't think there is a Mulab/Mux patch thread, yet. Maybe we should open one
Anyway, here is a brass pad, but also sounds OK for single notes, and surprisingly across several octaves
Anything but dreamy and warm, though, quite to the contrary, I tried to emulate the harsh sound of real brass

How about a sticky for "patch submissions"? If people post the version of MuX/MuLab used, when downloading you'd know if it was compatible. If the poster was to edit their post if their patch got into the factory library, then new people reading the thread could stick to the "new" ones, toofluffy_little_something wrote:Sorry for abusing this thread, but I don't think there is a Mulab/Mux patch thread, yet.
