One-Synth-Challenge 52: Podolski - Submissions and gossip

Heya, I've just uploaded & shared my entry for this OSC on Soundcloud: "Poddity" [I know, I know ]

Here's some info:
- DAW: FL9.
- Presets used: 21.
- Total instances: 23.
- Effects & processing: no additional effects, no mastering plugins, just raw Podolsky sound. No additional loops/samples (btw, I can't figure out how some folks manage to come up with real drums & percussion loops from a synth that has no such presets onboard, so my "percussion" lines are far from what one might call as a normal sounding drum loop, but since the rules forbid the use of any external wavs or 3rd party presets, I had to work with the default sounds and find...something that would resemble a percussive sound, heh).

Anyway, I don't expect my song to make a big "splash", but it was fun putting it together and squeezing this cool synth for sounds Enjoy

Call me weird, but I've never been a fan of U-He products and don't understand why people lose their minds when Urs posts something on forums.

Anyway, it's so crazy switching from the CPU killer (and superb sounding and looking) Aalto to this very light on resources Podolski. It's like being out from a prison; you don't know what to do with your freedom...

Hey guys, maybe soundcloud can minimize the spam, by having an invite system, membership only type system, or make your group un-discoverable setting. Lots of ways.

Perhaps we can all write soundcloud a support letter asking for a solution (hopefully fits within their sprint). It should be simple.

Perhaps we can all write soundcloud a support letter asking for a solution (hopefully fits within their sprint). It should be simple.

V'ger and i could set both groups as "closed", this way we just accept real participants tracks into the group.
This way we can separate the spammers entries from the real participants.

But maybe that could be a bit confusing, due there are already participants who are sharing their submissions in the wrong group almost each month. (I don't mind personally)

There is also the second way as we always do this, participants warn us in the forum about spammy tracks and then we just have to delete the fake tracks from the group.
I have sent many messages to SC guys about spammers, and even they said to me that it was a hard task to avoid.

If it wouldn't be for the nice comments feature in Soundcloud, i guess that we already would have moved to Archive.org definitely.
But let's admit it, we all love comments, likes and so on.

Yeah in my opinion not really a big problem yet so suggest to keep it like it is for the time being, maybe add some more moderators.

I wonder if Podolski is the lightest on CPU of all synths? Can't think of a better one at the moment..
