Certain parameters can be "double modded" though. Tough to explain, easier if you just do it and hear for yourself what (I think) I mean ha-ha.
For instance, set an lfo to the tuning of an osc in the osc mini window on the main panel. Now go to the mod matrix, and set another lfo going in the same (positive or negative) direction, and it's clearly audible that they are both acting on the source, in this case, changing the osc tuning by double what you can with just the usual time limits of one lfo.
I tried it with 2 lfos in the mod matrix area, and they do not double up like that (or at least not in the exact same way, as it sounds different, to me it sounded like nothing happened when I added the 2nd lfo, but that might have just been because of the patch I was trying it on). So it only seems to work for controls that allow an lfo (or any modifier) in the main module window.
Another interesting experiment is setting 2 lfos to the same high speeds, but in opposite directions. They do not zero out, the sound is changed.

Just one trick you can use with the Osc FX and wavetables. You can't really create detuning between the carrier and modulator when doing FM-style effects this way, but you can create pitch offsets which are harmonic ratios of the note played by carefully constructed wavetables.
These wavetables can be tedious to set up, but they give really interesting results because with the wavewarp you can then crossfade through a gamut of harmonic ratios, and that can wreak havoc with Osc FX
