It gonna increase number of beta testers for sure.
At least we've got some stress tests done with 1818 and it looks good. The manual underwent some changes. We'll get a TOC tool and then do this... hopefully before Monday.Btw, the included User Guide PDF is still the one without those ToC bookmarks.
it is both my sons and mothers birthday on sunday the 8th, so will have no vst money this month

I DL'd 1807 yesterday and had some fun with it last night in Samplitude. Tried twice to get 1818 today from links both at GS and here, and each time I try to install I'm getting an error:
Runtime Error (at-1:0):
Cannot import dll:<utf8>C:DOCUMEN~......

It does that non-transient-destroying compression thing rather well, especially the IEC models. The Modulation effects also sound awesome. It's done an oddball thing in Sonar X2 twice now, where bringing up the UI hangs for a second, and none of the graphics will draw, only the text labels. It doesn't happen often and unfortunately I haven't been able to reproduce it, but it seems closing and reopening the UI a couple times fixes it.

Hi, just wanted to point out an issue I'm experiencing in Reaper v4.51. When turning knobs they often reset to their original position after moving them. They only update to their new position when I close the Satin interface and open it up again. This is something that doesn't happen all the time, but more often than not.
Interestingly, when grouped, the equivalent knob on other Satin instances do update correctly. So I'll often have one satin with the wrong knob value and the others all correct. This is fixed when I close and reopen the offending Satin instance.
Hope this makes sense.
Cheers,
Cameron

In addition to sounding really good, the delay and flange features are SICK!

Oops, apparently the installer is broken. Have the same hting here at home. Sorry, we haven't checked the latest win installer ourselves yesterday.Seaside Music wrote:I DL'd 1807 yesterday and had some fun with it last night in Samplitude. I'm not in the office today, not sure when Clemens comes in, but I guess he gets this sorted out as soon as he sees it.

On Windows, I guess?cameron87 wrote:Reaper v4.51. When turning knobs they often reset to their original position after moving them. I was only able to reproduce a similar thing where the knobs would jump when turned too fast.
But what you are describing sounds like a completely different problem.
First question: have you used an earlier Beta version of Satin a few months back? In that case, there might be some images in Satin's data folder that were swapped but still get recognised, although they shouldn't be. This can lead to strange knob behaviour for one.
Are you completely sure you haven't MIDI-learned or host-automated those controls in question? Sounds a little like your host is trying to set their state but you're overriding it manually.
Clemens is on it, this error's in for a hard time.DeePho wrote:Oh, thats good. I also have the same error.
