Curious about how it will sound yeah. I'm also pretty well covered in the EQ domain. I'm also curious to hear how the drive will sound, cause on that side I'm pretty well equipped too (VoS, IVGI from Klanghelm, Softube, PSP...).

Great GUI. Featurewise it seems to be identiacal with the great and free predecessor, but with improved algorithms?

If I remember correctly, they said they would be releasing an updated version of the free version too... I'm hoping this means 64bit ...TheoM wrote:Son eq was my fave freeware eq of all time and I was always bummed there was no 64 bit. If this does it all and more then I am happy to pay for it. Thrilled actually.

All that.maxxxter wrote:Can't say I'm a fan of this GUI; the knobs are too small (in relation to the size of the background surface) and their perspective shift is a bit overdone, even unnecessary. I actually like HW-like GUIs, but this one is not very good.
Also, I sincerely hope there will be some kind of numeric frequency readout if they hope this to become our "go-to" EQ.
A Nyquist-corrected curve and some saturation don't make a "go-to EQ" these days anymore, with all due respect.
The perspective looks way weird. My monitor is flat, so why would a plugin GUI be curved/bent/whatever? The colours look really nice to the eye, though.
But regarding sound, I'm sure it will sound awesome.
I also heard SonEQ free will get updated, too.

Hmm, do I need another EQ?? Apart from one more mid band, does it give me much more than SonEQ free?
The GUI looks really beautiful all in all , but the faux perspective of the knobs makes me a bit nauseated. Loose that a bit and it gets my vote for "Most Beautiful Skeuomorphic Plugin of the Year"!

From what I understand it's completely re-coded from SonEQ Free.
