Democracy is fine, provided the party you don't like don't get in. Otherwise it's mob-rule. Put your pitchforks down!

This is a poll for real DAWs.
Clearly the results of the poll invalidate your claim.
You got me there. :hihi:

Never was, never will be...what, exactly?
top dog ... as in the thread title.
Just because some ppl don't consider it to be a pro DAW, doesn't mean it can't be popular. One thing has nothing to do with the other.

You don't like it, don't use it, but commenting on people's choices looks a bit odd to me. IMO, of course ;)
I don't use it and I'll comment on what I like thanks very much. Just like you did there ... nothing odd about it. This is a forum after all.

FL is to DAW as DJ is to Musician
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

Fruity Loops? Wow, I would not expect such a big usage or so many votes.

You're a Justin Bieber fan, then?
Set Theory claim:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate.
Red is Red and anything that is Red is an object, a class in itself or a real thing if you prefer"

FL should be in a class all it's own.

There I said it...

To be lumped in as a "DAW" is a bit of a stretch although it functions pretty much the same it's a complete different animal. In my opinion it's more a "Sequencer" with added audio capability which works for a great many people(according to this poll).

The same can be said of Ableton Live which apparently came in 2nd.

Do you actually have a point, or just throwing random comments around? :)

I suspect his point is that popular doesnt always equal best.
"I was wondering if you'd like to try Magic Mushrooms"
"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"
