just bought phalanx premium and yes this is the ONLY plug I bought since BF and I didn't buy any banks.
I face the same issue as TheoM as my drum is the weakest link in my EDM project. I don't like programming drum beats in the drum editor within the DAW. However, I found that using something like Geist can easily do the x0x. By using Geist's song mode also can get a very good result in "Song" mode. I love using this combo rather than Maschine studio....
One thing that I want to see the next update is the Random button .... Can I just randomize one slot rather than All?
Worth owning phalanx for presets if already own nexus and a few vengeance packs?

This is all I can tell you. You are fully aware of the quality and usefullness and super coolness factor of all Vengeance/reFX products. There's no question about it. I've learned over time that money spent on their products, will never result in a let down. Even if not demoed. They always offer extremely high value no matter what. This is why I trust in the Vengeance/reFX brand, and was able to purchase Phalanx Premium a while back and can honestly say that it was designed to be one of the best electronic music production tools ever created. It's got literally everything you need under one roof to create total digital art without having to use any other tools. The library is awesome, and worth most of the price alone, and also as Neil1000 said, exploring the presets are an excellent way to learn how to use Phalanx in more creative ways. It's integration with the other Vengeance plugs is an even greater bonus. Wanna talk about easy to route full blown modulation matrix? Fun as hell. There's too much to list. It's important to note though, that it all depends on the user as well. If one can see what Phalanx is, and what Phalanx was actually designed for, then one can appreciate the effort put into the design of it. Sky is totally the limit with this sampler. It's one of my top 5 VSTi out of the millions I have.

There's a couple, at the least, phalanx vocal words and phrases (e.g. #37) which is the same vocal from the Vengeance Essential Club Vol. 4 vocal shout #37. "Just make the crowd go"msvs wrote:no duplicate content at all
And, from the same library, there's another one in there where it's the same exact vocal phrase with one extra word, "ayo"
It's easy to recognize duplicate vocal phrases compared to drum sounds. It is kind of disappointing to wonder how many drum sounds or other sounds are duplicates in all my Vengeance/Nexus libraries
