On further review I guess I could just send the amount of the filter into negative values and get the same effect...(SMH). So many options...it takes a minute to wrap my head around it. I WOULD feel like an idiot..but I'm too old to be cool anymore. Thanks again.....oh yeah.multiples, got it.

If you have the denero, I can recommend the tutorial by MacProVideo
http://www.macprovideo.com/tutorial/uhe ... everywhere
It's excellent, and it looks like they are planning as second one to go into more depth.
ACE is an awesome little beastie. She really has been my favorite synth ever since I was fortunate to discover U-He. Spend some time getting to know her and she will smite you
(in a good way).

Awesome, looking forward to it! (I could need it)Urs wrote:Yes, but apart from the quick overview that's more of a "how to" thing that looks at certain aspects in isolation. The new tutorial goes much deeper in explaining how things are related.Dasheesh wrote:I thought you already had a tutorial series up?

I still don't understand what Dasheesh is/was trying to do. Anybody?

I originally suspected he didn't know where the VCA section was, not sure, but in any case it appears he's on a roll now.

As a Ace newbie is this tutorial already available?Urs wrote:We actually have a comprehensive ACE video tutorial by Dan Worrall coming up… once we know what the AAX crash bug with Zebra is, we will release an ACE update with a free new HS preset bank and the tutorial series.

Not yet. We're currently working on a maintenace update of everything, which we hope to post a public beta for shortly. That'll include an update to ACE, which we would like to get out along with the tutorials.besh wrote:As a Ace newbie is this tutorial already available?Urs wrote:We actually have a comprehensive ACE video tutorial by Dan Worrall coming up… once we know what the AAX crash bug with Zebra is, we will release an ACE update with a free new HS preset bank and the tutorial series.
It won't be long though...

Sorry, I've been traveling. I was trying to adjust the amount of the envelope. Not on the filter...on the amplifier. Most (modern) synths allow you to adjust the amount of the envelopes, sometimes into the negative. I can adjust the amount of envelope two in the filter section, but found no such parameter in the oscillator section. I did find that I could assign adsr1 to a free knob IN the adsr1 section and get the effect of amount, as it's affecting itself into the negative. I have yet to find a way to adjust envelope 1 all the way down through zero. Maybe one would never need to do this, but for the sake of experimentation I was just going to make envelope one invert. I can do this quite simply on other synths. Does't matter...it was just for the sake of learning the instrument and experimentation. Thank you for your replies. By the way...did I mention...IHoward wrote:I still don't understand what Dasheesh is/was trying to do. Anybody?
