It means a lot to us too. Thanks to everyone at u-he for making the process of creating and playing sounds so much fun!Urs wrote:Hadn't expected this, and it means a lot to us.

Congratulations, Urs and U-He all!
"Unexpected"? Not to me, anyway. I know of few other devs that A) continue to create bleeding edge world class instruments and B) find the time to interact closely and with a personal touch with customers. Oh, and C) have a sense of humour.

Congratulations!!!
Thank you for your wonderful products and also for your great support. You (all at u-he) are a standout organization and an example of how things should be done!

Yes, congratulations! And thank you for being on the forefront not only of the technology but also of being on the bleeding edge of how to run a software company... rather than just leaving your customers bleeding!

Damn well-deserved!
Let's not forget the others, though. Valhalla, the Camels, Cytomic... there's a pattern here. Great products at more than fair prices, good customer relations, a high public profile with the occasional peek-a-boo into the internal development processes... it's no wonder that lots of people connect with these devs on an emotional level. Which just goes to show that it is possible to be nice, play fair, and still make a profit.

IMO, the most important human attribute when communicating with clients !Spitfire31 wrote:Oh, and C) have a sense of humour.
(even though its not as easy as it sounds !)
Professional technicians are assessed by the abilities they possess.
Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.

Haven't thought of it... yes, apparently with Germans

congratulations to the u-he team. Hard work and dedication does pay off. Sometimes.
Didn't know about this award thing. Therefore you didn't get my vote, nobody get a vote from me. Doesn't matter.
For me, u-he simply provides best quality what algorithms can give, so it's not a surprise they win several KVR awards. And I guess also other awards. U-he is state-of-the-art. But let me add, this is not from a satisfied customer or even fanboy perspective. I judge only by ear, whatever plugin I'm testing. There are few other companies that make very good software, it's not easy to be among the best.
