Diva is probably the most intuitive of the U-He synths. But, still.MFXxx wrote:Ill take a look, never ever looked at the manual tbhaaron aardvark wrote:Do a search for Multicore in Diva's instruction manual for further information.
Why Diva needs a Titan Supercomputer?

ive been running an earlier version in my live performance setup because it seems when the uhbie filter etc got added the cpu draw went up a little.
i run it at very low latency and with a lot of other stuff:
ill try the latest build and see if its gotten any better. what happens is it seems notes with high velocity go distorted crazy.

I generally find the Uhbie filter to be a touch lighter on CPU...Tony Ostinato wrote:ive been running an earlier version in my live performance setup because it seems when the uhbie filter etc got added the cpu draw went up a little.

Well, there were some questions about Diva getting more expensive on CPU. We thought it might be the compilers, so we benchmarked current builds with different compilers. Surprisingly, the current compilers reduce CPU by about 5% compared to previous versions.
However, there was a bug fixed in the DCO which could lead to ugly aliasing in the suboscillator. The DCO therefore needs a tad more CPU, and I'm not sure if other models are affected as well.
