Surely looks good, especially on Windows 8, where it really fits to the general GUI design.
I find that the deals and Videos bar is a bit big now though, compared to the News stuff. If that would be a bit more narrow, it would look better IMO.

Yeah, I don't see the latest posts or even the button next to my user name to get to the page on my iPhone 5s. I'm sure it's just an oversight.parma wrote:yep, it's borked on mobile browsers - Latest Posts column is absent

Oh wait, it's there. It's just an icon now.

My experience is the view is narrower [than what I had selected at Customize KVR] and there is no left side of the page at Customize KVR now.Karten wrote:In the drop-down menu below your username on the right, click on "customize KVR". Then on the left side of the page (you need to scroll down), you can change the default width.Sampleconstruct wrote:Oh, I missed that then.

It looks weird, the first time I saw this, my connection was slow and I had just logged off, and back online, and sometimes that makes the page load slow and I'll see something similar.
Is this so the thread titles can be longer?

I just tried the new layout out a bit more on my Android phone, and apart from that the user menu above is pretty broken, and the "What's new @ KVR" thing only shows "New" or so, it's pretty good. The forum is now well browsable, as is the site. Good job really. Now just the user panel, and some other menus have to be fixed, then it'll be a pretty good experience on both the computer and the phone.

The What's New sidebar becomes the "New @" drop down at the top of the browser on narrow screens.chk071 wrote:Looks like the view on mobile browsers is completely f***ed now though... the user panel is now above the main frame, and i don't see the side panel "What's new @ KRVR" at all anymore.

Is it? The only part of the user menu that I know is broken is the "Updates" drop down (it's currently too wide).chk071 wrote:the user menu above is pretty broken
What else is broken?
The "New @" drop down should show the same as the sidebar does???chk071 wrote:the "What's new @ KVR" thing only shows "New" or so

Yep, i got it now.
I thought it was broken, as it only showed "New", and i thought it was still supposed to show "What's new at KVR". The user panel isn't really broken either, it just looked a bit misplaced, due to it being more narrow than in the "desktop view". All working though. Good stuff.
