Filterscape, along with all the other u-he plugins, has a great manual to help you get started.

A thorough UI makeover is on its way - which makes things look much less intimidating. Not sure when though, the designers are currently brooding over Bazille and Presswerk.

...which will probably entice me to complete the collection, too. Filterscape and MFM2 with updated GUI would definitely make them more fun.

This is why Urs and company are awesome, and it is worth owning their products!

They always are upgrading and improving their already amazing plugins.

Well, I did RTFM (read the fine manual). I guess it's a difference in knowing what the knobs do and knowing which ones to turn to get a nice effect. Kind of like book smarts versus street smarts. Except, these aren't the streets baby, these are the staffs.

Will MFM get a reskin? Something about it really puts me off, but I can't put my finger on it. I think it's a combination of the circular layout and the colour, but I'm not sure.

It kinda looks like a CD. Who uses CDs anymore? It should just look like a SSD drive instead. (Actually, I like it)

One thing that would be super sweet would be a way to copy the feedback presets from, for example, Dual Pingpong, into the user matrix. Some of those diagrams are difficult to understand (or maybe just put arrowheads on the lines?).

No redesign planned for MFM2 (yet)
