I quite like the idea, actually. How do you envision defining what the sequence components (i.e. the collection of clips/parts of the timeline) referenced by the numbers in the Sequence Order box?

Rock, you're nuts.

You can set up to 10 markers in a mix 1,2,3...9,0. Hold down the control key and hit a numeric key to place a marker at the current play position.
It would be such an easy thing to throw in an extra chorus or repeat a tag line to fade if this system were in place.

If you like it, I relax and realize I must not need to be embarassed for recommending it.
Seems like it would be easy to implement too doesn't it? Hope so.

Yes, I like the idea. Hope Jules catches on.

Tommorrow afternoon I'll try to take a look at how acid does it. I don't think I ever used that feature.

*sniff*
Sometimes I *really* wish Tracktion was open-source. Or at least had a modular SDK or even a license whereby paid license holders could have access to parts of the source code (i.e. the bits not concerning copy protection) and thereby be able to send patches to Jules. Oh well.

Clueless, seems like Jules could do either or both without any fear of conflict.

Yeah, I'd like the playlisting aspect of your idea, coupled with the visual feedback provided by my idea (currently, if markers are placed far apart it's hard to tell whether you're inside them or outside them, and there's no way of describing what the marked portions are).
Jules?...
(Rock, would you like to post the screenshot I did to see what sort of response it gets?)

That's fine, but if you want it up soon you'll need to resend it because I am at work and don't have it here.
