don't use it! <grin> Harmonium and Accordion have no pitch bending, so it's not implemented,

hold on I'll post an update which ignores it

Post

UPDATED to ignore Pitch Bend MIDI message,

download from the same link,

Sorry. I misunderstood the thread. I thought this was a post to help find bugs, etc.

I wouldn't use the pitch wheel for this instrument anyway, I just happened to come across it and thought I'd post it.

no no, it's correct, please do post bugs report here,

thanks Branst,

now the latest version ignores the pitch bend messages, so it should't crash if you move that wheel

Post

lol. sorry again liqih, crashes in both cubase SX2 and Computer Musys. Loads up fine, but as soon as i send it a midi note, there's no sound at all and it crashes the program.
:(

Post

thanks for the report,

strange since it works in the other hosts,
I'm really curious about that, <grin>

at least I can download Musyz demo and debug

Post

mm..., running fine here in Musyz demo,
I played a track, edited the sound with no problem at all, P3-M Win XP

which PC are you using Totc?

anyone else could check Peti on SX 2 ?

Post

which PC? lol, geez i don't even know...it's really a mix job. 8) It's possible that it's just my computer though...my hardrive is on it's last breath i think...i've been meaning to re-format it and all that. lol, this will be good motivation...i'll start the reformatting process tomorrow and peti will be the first vst i install...i'll check and see if that does the trick. I'll keep you updated.

I found something odd. Open up Peti and play C5. Wait a second and then play C1. It briefly plays what sounds like an extra bit of the C5 note along with the C1. It actually happens with most notes, but it is most noticeable when going from a very high note to a low one.

...or is this a feature of the Harmonium?

no, cool thing though, LOL

does it happen even with Resonance at zero?

many thanks pough I'll check that,

BTW it will be pubblic beta, so next update will save presets

Post

i have a recording of what i assume is a harmonium
and it has quite loud key clacking sound , anyway it sounds quite nice ,maybe it is an old harmonium, it has a very mechanical sound, maybe a bit like the key sound in dash's tubile sax vst. would it be a harmonium and could the keys function on peti be made a bit more pronounced like this.
regards
it is a nice sounding instrument.

Post

enjoy, the free beta is out

Not a demo , the plugin is fully functional.
You can save and load presets, a 10 presets bank is included as FXB files

You can report bugs, comments and suggestion about Peti.

Share presets as well.

Tried more today. The current beta is much better. No crashes. The sound is pretty good too, although some of the modulations don't sound like I remember (it's been 7-8 years since I last played one).

Good one Liqih

Post

shanecgriffo,
thanks for testing, yes some harmonium or accordion
have a louder keys noise, mostly the old one though,

it also depends on recording, if mic was near to keys.

progfusion74
, maybe you could share some presets
to show me which settings give the best harmonium sound for you (?), it would be great,

thanks

Liqih,
Great idea! downloading now, and I will compare Peti to my harmonium from Delhi :). Also, good luck with the future and what I presume will be a merger between your nusofting plugs and the dash ones.
