That was not the idea and is not the same, but thanks. I won't buy one of these. They don't have the idea of the waves one and a better melda version, but we have to wait for MXXX and that's no prob. So we can close this thread.

You're not alone, robertszalapski. Many users bounce around in multiple hosts. As a sound designer, I get a lot of creative juice from the variety of hosts out there to use.robertszalapski wrote:That surprised me. I assumed most users like me end up working in different hosts...
Not everyone has that opportunity, though. My understanding is that Vojtech comes from a music studio background where the focus is more typically on session workflow than open creative experimentation -- the kinds of things that cost a lot of money when you have a studio booked out. I'm not suggesting studio engineers are not creative or into experimentation, just that it's a lot harder to venture down untrodden paths. Opening multiple hosts is often not a viable option when you have clients staring over your shoulder and a band waiting for you to dial in the EQ so they can record. (also not suggesting Vojtech isn't creative or experimentation. Just one look at his awesome software is all that is needed to see this is someone with creativity spilling out his ears!
Still, though, the idea of a plug-in chainer with presets for Melda is a great one (as was AAX, which Vojtech rejected up until it was released…). Look at Guitar Rig, Maschine (

Understood and thanks

Anyway it all does MXXX, but it needs to be released first
But it will happen, the wheels of destiny are already in motion
