Nice sounding plug, thanks! Everything which lets you destroy a sound using feedback gets a thumbs up from me, will get a vote for sure.

Great plugin you made here. Works like a charm
I am positive that it will end up on more than one or two tracks
of mine in the future.
I like that it is not that complicated, since I have enough
plugins like that already.
Looking forward, to see how this plugin (hopefully) grows, and
evolves in the days to come.
I haven't found the easter egg yet, but I don't mind a little
suspense
Cheers

Some very cool fx there!
I had the same observations about automation here (Cubase 7.5, Mac), although the automation does in fact work if written directly to the corresponding automation track (but is not reflected in the GUI, as already observed).
A question about MIDI control..
In Cubase, I can set a MIDI track to have Guitar Gadgets' MIDI In as its destination, but I see no way to set which MIDI CC#s can be set (or, if they are "fixed", then which CC#s are they, please?
.
It would be great if the GUI's knobs could be MIDI Learnt

Thank you very much everybody !
Since it's sunday, I'm planning to do the next release tomorrow. I will finish the AU version, do a few fixes on the algorithms, and the automation will work like a charm (it's done right now, but I want to be sure everything is fine with several DAWs before releasing it).
It would be great to add a MIDI learn feature obviously. I will do that at the end of the Developer Challenge, since I don't have the right to do anything but bug fixes

I just did an update finally ! It includes a few bug fixes, such as the automation issues. There is also an AudioUnit version for Logic users. I have not been able to test the AU on Logic X, since I don't have it, but the plug-in seems to works fine on Reaper 64 bits as an Audio Unit plug-in.

Excellent!
Automation working correctly now, here on Cubase 7.5 Mac
Unfortunately, it fails validation in Logic Pro X, with the following error..

I think I'm going to give this one 5 points. Easy to use. Not buggy, AFAIK. Wide-range of sounds and usable not only for guitar but for any VST instrument, maybe. Probably usable on a daily basis, for any song construction.
Chaining capability might elevate this, as others have already suggested. My one suggestion at this time is maybe tool-tips should appear when hovered over by mouse cursor indicating name of gadget. Or maybe even labels under the circles would be nice.
It would be interesting to know what your other projects are. Good luck with DC14. Hope GG does well.

Well I have to get a Logic X so to see what's going on. Thanks vic_france for the report
Hello harryupbabble ! I'm happy that you like Guitar Gadgets
The suggestion for the tooltips is a good one indeed. And I will talk about my next projects when they will be enough developed, as soon as possible

Did you validate the AU version with the command line tool Apple provides?

Cool plug. Some of the sections are really useful to me, whereas some I prefer things I've already got.
Worth a vote-point or two certainly!
Phaser is great. Not entirely sold on the reverb on it's own, but involved in a chain it can come into its own. Various filter & distortion units within seem to work nicely together too.
Not bothered by not being able to chain within the plug - can always get another instance open. seemed low on cpu on my system, so that shouldn't be a problem here.

Q. Why is a mouse when it spins?
A. The higher the fewer.

Thanks a lot The_Hidden_Goose
About the AU validation, I have just solved the issue. I'm doing a new release right now, including also the tooltips

No, I used the AU Plugin Manager inside Logic Pro, to rescan the plugin.Miles1981 wrote:Did you validate the AU version with the command line tool Apple provides?

It's done ! I have been able to use it with Logic X, and play a little with the easter egg successfully
