Jamstix is a beautiful concept, just baffling and confusing in execution.
Mdrummer is right now pretty much the sole contender for AI Drum king.
As for sample mapping with velocity layers AND round robins.
It is done in TX16WX and Battery using a grid
Y-axis is increasing velocity
X-axis is round or random robins
So the grid for example for 10 velocity layers and 3 round robins = 10 x 3 = 30 cells ( each cell will hold one sample)
