superb choice. brings back some painful memories of unrequited lovewhyterabbyt wrote:
Superlative opener to "Kiss Me Kiss Me Miss Me", nearly 4 minutes of it is basicall an extended, building 'intro', always feeling like its just about to break into the body of the song proper, while constantly cranking up the sense of anticipation. Wunnerful.
great album opening tracks

Ice cold in a very warm way, the 80's couldn't have had a better opening tune

An idiot on Set Theory:

I was going to post exactly the same album - it's totally contrary to the 'big opening number' maxim that always used to be the case as that build goes on forever.ZenPunkHippy wrote:Leftfield - Leftism - Release The Pressure
I've got to stand and fight
In this creation
Vanity I know
Can't guide I alone
I'm searching to find
A love that lasts all time
I've just got to find
Peace and unity
I have great memories of leaving the Glastonbury Festival one year just as the sun was rising and this album being on in the car. It was just perfect how it built as we were getting on to the road out of there.
