Freeform eq - no sorry, it has latency, not really good for this.

Arp settings - damn, I'll check!

Unsorted order - ups :), I'll check as well.
OK.

Since we are not talking about releases but about b1 and b2 beta versions it would be ok if you just leave the "backwards incompatibility" as it is I think. The few patches that exist could be corrected and resaved and that's it. Yet maybe it is a good idea to fix it nonetheless, so that if you add more arp sync patterns in the future, the same problem does not happen again.

Yes, I'm afraid it will have to stay this way, there's no way to resolve the 2 different versions. Well, CableChannel you caused this!!! :D You asked for the triplets! :D Kiddin' :D Or am I? :D

Where does it save the presets on Windows 8?

Post

Check documentation, but you do NOT need - just use the preset export (preset window, select folder, click export).

Sorry to say that but the ARP is still buggy in FL Studio...

Furthermore I'm wondering about the restriction when it comes to velocity. Why not use a vertical fader instead of the pre-defined buttons? For velo-sensitive sounds (btw, imho any preset should be velo-sensitive*) one misses a lot of fine-tuning options to tweak the arp sequence right.

*to me it's more important than the given 4-MP-rule for the preset 'contest' though I understand the underlying idea.

The bug with the comment box is still there on my system. I can click into the textbox, then a blinking cursor is there and the "Preset Information" goes in all uppercase, but thats it. No matter what keys I type it is just ignored, I can't enter any text. Happens with any preset.

ellasi - by buggy you mean what? Some info could help :D.

4-MP-rule :) (nice name) is just easy to use and was easier to implement. Anyway it has to stay this way.

cablechannel - Are you using physical keyboard or just the virtual? Does it work in the preset name edit? Which OS and host?

Physical keyboard. I didn't know of a virtual one, where is it?
Yes renaming presets works (physical keyboard).
Win 7 64 bit, Cubase 7.0.7 64 bit.

How to describe it...: the play pos of the arp jumps after a few bars (also visually), sometimes as early as in bar 3. I can't detect a certain behaviour. It seems almost random. Personally I don't care too much but I'm 'developing' the presets in FLS because it's super speedy for scribbles and certain tasks.

Re 4-MP-rule: No discussion about it. I'm with you. Just saying that the velo-thingy should have been a 'rule', too. :ud:

Ah ok, confusion on my side. I CAN type comments when saving a new patch. However there is no way to edit the comments for an existing patch? Thats bad because often I am lazy and want to type comments later.

Maybe add a preset info tab in the advanced settings so one can edit the comments there?

Ha, next request... :P

The new and most welcome global pitch is missing in the MP target list. :x

Much needed for percussion sounds like bass drumz & the like. ;)
