Daniel is another set of sounds I do recommend here.
And there is a HG Fortune set available for V7 (if you can find it) that is good also.
But it does seem to get indigestion from what you feed it at times.

Wusikstation works really well on my system. I love it and I'm surprised it doesn't get much recognition outside of KVR. I guess Williams false promises are for something in that fact...

Wusikstation is an awesome synth capable of incredible sounds. I think it's highly underrated and overlooked. Perhaps because it's more at home making amazing soundscapes and textures than Tarnce and EDM although of course in the right hands could easily fit many genres. Say what you will about Wusik as a company and William as a person but he's been very good to me over the years and in private is a very nice person.
I haven't had much time to work with Wusik 4 K yet but it seems like it's going to be everything WS was and more as it matures into Wusik 8K.
By the way I did some D-50 style patches for Wusikstation using the Famous Keys sample sets including an homage to the famous...or infamous... "Native Dance". They can be found in the Banks and Patches section here.

There is nothing wrong with that....
It works consistently for me - both V6 and V7 - and I put it through all kinds of torture....

What's your point ? Wusikstation works perfectly in Win 7 64 bit here. No "support" needed.BBFG# wrote:WusikStation is a 'legacy' product and no longer supported. (Windows only.)
EVE is a 'legacy' product and no longer supported. (32 bit only.)
Both are sold 'as-is'.

It's just not worth the asking price without support though.dnekm wrote:There is nothing wrong with that....

IMO, EVE should be as free as Tone2's Firebird and WusikStation should be priced accordingly.
(Or given freely with the purchase of 4000/8000 as has been done in a few their 'sales'.)
For a new user, the current product to consider is 4000.
And since 8000 is promised to be its replacement,
as it's suppose to replace the Station too,
It would be to the benefit of a new user to wait for 8000 to be officially released.
Everything else is just history.

History is history and even the developer is moving on away from it.
BTW, I actually prefer the Station over 4000/8000.
I feel it was a big mistake for him to dump it as he has.

Okay, then, yes, I did.Teksonik wrote:The thread topic is "Anyone use Wusik synths ?" The answer here is yes.....happily.
But don't now and wouldn't suggest to anyone to buy until the future product is officially released to consider it until then. Wait until 8000 is released and see if you like it.
Unless you buy it all in the auction for the children's fund.

I don't see any technical reason not to buy Wusikstation now......then wait for 8000 to be released. It's still a great synth and functions just fine on 64 bit systems. I certainly don't plan on deleting Wusikstation even if I do like 8000..........

Because its been replaced.
Why spend money on the same synth two or three times instead of just waiting for the one that is suppose to replace the other two?
It just doesn't make any sense for someone buying their first Wusik product.

Otherwise Uncle Eric would have shut it down quickly I'm afraid. We all need to eat y'know, so gotta protect our assets
