Traktor Kontrol S8

Image

This release removes jogs completely. Everything is synced in software and can pretty much autoplay. The DJ is left to only hit fancy flashing buttons.

Komplete Kontrol midi keyboard is pretty much another common keyboard, but comes with flashing buttons and has double the price of competition. This didn't stop them for being preordered within few days after announcement.

I am becoming antifan of Native Instruments, seriously.

What is wrong with Ozone 6 exactly?

Only O5 users will be able to answer that question, but I'm tired of it.

I agree with Ozone 6 and Komplete Ultimate 10.

Added to the list:

DrumCore 4.

What? You haven't seen it? Exactly.

Back in February 2014, loyal customers were asked to pre-order the update at a special price, for delivery due in March. March came and went. No DC4. The months passed. Disappointed customers were offered free additional drumpacks for their patience. Still nothing.

Then, a glimmer of hope: a beta is released, but only to a select few that apply and are approved. For the rest of us? Nothing. Nada. Not even a postcard.

So now as 2014 draws to a close, this non-release that many of us have paid for is just so much vapor.

So many plugins, so little time...

Soundtoys - Not released yet, but tomorrow I think. Comes in a 'rack', so you can stack all your ST plugs together. Woohoo! Just what I'd never want to do. :( So, I won't be upgrading unless I absolutely have to.

Um... That's it I think.
The rack is optional, all the plugins work independently still.

Computer Music gives it 10/10 rating?
Jaysus, are you serious?! Actually, that does'nt surprise me one bit. Mag reviews are (mostly) crap, I never take them too seriously.

In fact, it's nearly impossible to get a bad rating in some of these 'mags'. I wonder why that i$$$$$$? :)

Yeah I was aware of that... But I'm not forking over a cent for a rack that'd I'd never use. The only thing that would make 'upgrade' was if Primal Tap was included (I have the little one). Or I'd just buy it separately as I did with the rest(ie - Radiator, Deil Lok, etc).
I will take the Lord's name in vain, whenever I want. Hail Satan! And his little goblins too.

This "Basic" synth from AudioDamage didn't convince me at all (whilst I like most of their other effects)!

Wavelab 8.5 was pretty disappointing and not worthy of a paid upgrade IMO.

Sampletank 3 without a doubt.

A complete waste of money for me.

Should of just bought xpand!2 in the first place.
