Egoist is my plugin of the year. Looperator... not blowing me away.

Yes I really want to like Looperator but I have a hard time differentiating it from Effectrix and Turnado...

I think I also know the concept behind Egoist but I have a hard time integrating this tool into my workflow just now.

Well, don't then. It seems to me lately that many users (not addressed at any one in particular) think they are obliged to integrate new toys into their "workflow", whereas it's the other way round, devs have to come up with toys which are actually useful to make music and sound, it's the wrong way round.

I find it most useful for screwing with samples and being able to pick out little bits. Drop it in Audiomulch, fiddle around, add this and that, see what comes up.

That's what I do with Egoist, as well, load samples and bounce them out for more use later. But it's tedious to have it as part of a project...

I don't know about this one. I'm a big fan of sugar bytes, and when egoist was released I was eager to try it, but looperator just looks like egoist lite.

Nah... not interested in that one. Have Effectrix, and would be interested in a v2. Not long ago I bought Egoist. I think that's enough money spent for Sugar Bytes.

The KVR forum automatically transforms some links. It's an automatic affiliate system (skimlinks.com) for outbound links.

It's making money of any link we post and click on. Even if it looks like it's a direct link to a legitimate site. Links are also tracked, so musiciansfriend .com, in this case, knows that you clicked this link at KVR.

And we let them...

First of all, I don't think it's unethical for KVR/Ben to try to earn a bit of money, considering the resources that must be necessary to run this place.

Then again - skimlinks uses JavaScript to transform the links which can be easily blocked with browser plugins. I for example use ScriptSafe to block this kind of stuff (also Google Analytics, social network integration scripts etc.). Makes the site faster, too.
