It would be nice if you could use one thread like this one:

This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Yes, but he is a "tester". Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but he is not Waldorf tech support, and he may have limited access to their internal information.

You can always complain about whatever you want here. That's a given. But it sounded to me like the OP was looking for some resolution. So, instead of waiting for someone to "forward all that stuff" to Waldorf, why not just contact them directly? You won't have to worry about someone else forwarding your issue (along with who knows how many others) and you won't have to wait for that one person to get a response back to you. Contact the developer yourself, and if you're upset with them (which is understandable, given what you're saying about the synth), take out some frustration on them!

As you can see, Ingonator has many Waldorf-related forums where he's trying to help. I was just suggesting that it may be considerably faster and more efficient to contact the developer directly. But regardless of what you do, I wish you luck in getting it resolved.

I am the waldorf Beta forum manager. I am responsible for the beta testers, testing myself, collecting bug reports from the testers and check those where possible. Finally i forward reports to the developer and discuss with him wher necessary (if possible send reports as a short step by step procedure).

Anyway usally customers should send bugs to official Waldorf support (this is not done by me) and they will forward those to me which i and/or the testers should check (ans/or send this to the developer).

I find it pointless to contact Waldorf Support, because every time I did that they behaved like a bunch of jerks to me! Their responses were, without exception, rude and not forthcoming. (They could very well do with a course in customer relations!)
So I did hope you were taking note of the long, long time bugs I mentioned.

BTW. PPG works fine in VSTHost for me too, but I need Chainer for the randomizer!
You listed Tobybear MiniHost too to be working, but that is ASIO only and that doesn't work well on my system (Win 7, 32) :(

You know, in older versions of PPG everything DID work fine, but Waldorf won't allow me to download an older version! :( :(

The beta team really screwed the pooch on this one.

Looks like they need a new manager...

Maybe I've missed it. But did Waldorf provide any extra presets for the PPG Wave V2.

Any idea on where to get more presets for PPG Wave V 2?

Would you have done it better? Such comments are always easy if you were not involved...

If it will help, for future reference, I have Sonar X3, X2 and X1 (64-bit and 32-bit), and I could test Waldorf Edition or whatever else you want.

That said, PPG Wave 2.V and 3.V work fine for me in general, but I haven't tried to replicate what the OP mentioned.

Here's some of my stuff: https://soundcloud.com/shadowsoflife. If you hear something you like, I'm looking for collaborators.

If you want an uptodate alternative to Chainer, with a better randomiser, try Cantabile.

That's only in the (most expensive!) 'Performer' version. :(

OTOH, I did read somewhere someone mentioned using a 'scripting language' in Reaper to make a randomizer, but I know nothing about that and he didn't give an example. :(
