And that is why this confused me...

If you mean that the LFO would have created the impression of simple multiplied repetitions of the oscillator's sine, this might sound that way, but it really rather contributes triangles at a multitude and also arbitrary intervals, which actually are a little more complicated to achieve and nothing one would really want to achieve, hahaha...

But, yeah...I understand now.

I tried to drag & drop your preset in an empty rack's slot, but the software says "couldn't load preset file"

I cannot load FM test_01 and 02 on Mulab's rack. It says: couldn't load preset file. Why?

Try extracting the file and save it first rather than trying to drag it from the zip ?
