"It should be possible in the manner I described before. I.e. pressing the browser button in the insert effects section and then go up and down with the cursor keys. Yes it will load the actual patch but like I said they've implemented a "revert" state now that will bring you back to your original setting."

Thank you. of course I uninstalled the ver 8 demo last night.. do you mean you load the instruments/effects and then every single time you wanna go back you have to click on a revert button? for me when I'm auditioning dozens of effect and instrument patches.. the last thing I want is That. if that's how it works. if that is how it works now.. that is a huge pita in the long run. Compared to the normal old way. Now that I'm back messing with 6.5 I notice how much better the older interface looks to me.[/quote]

No, as I understand it you revert to the state before you browsed all the patches, similarly to how cancel acted before. But do try it out first.

It's not as smooth as pre the new browser, but it's better than it was initially.

cool. will do after work. unless someone wants to try quick :) I LOVE pretty much everything else about Reason. incredibly well though out. amazing stuff. just remembered there is a "velocity variation" option that can be set to light, medium and heavy when using the on screen keyboard or computer keyboard. brilliant. I wonder if this can be set on a midi channel? when using a no velocity keyboard? not that I ever use one.

Anyone know if they have updated any of this stuff yet?

Somehow I missed this thread the first time around.

memyself, I remembered seeing some YouTube vids on using EZD with Reason. Here's one:

I'm not a Reason user (yet, sorta looking... ), so I don't know if it's what you're looking for.
