Halma wrote:VAST Vaporizer sounds pretty nice. The only thing lacking is a dedicated BP Filter (you can do some LP/HP serial routing for this) but for that you will get some other nice Filtertypes and Envelopes with different curves. Up to 97 parallel oscillators per voice (4 unison / detune banks with max 24 plus 1 noise oscillator). At 16 voice polyphony this results in a maximum number of 1552 oscillators per plug-in at a time. But for that you need some serious CPU power. No hidden tabs. Lots of modulation possibilities and sick Oscillator to Filter routing. Cheap (24.90 € / 29.90 $) and serial or keyfile protection only (can't remember which one).

Check out the demo. Highly recommended and unfortunately very underrated synth.
This one really impressed me a lot, but 7% and more (mostly 22-47%) with only 1 instance on my notebook is too much for me. :D
I hear you. :)

Same for me on my oldschool dual core rig but it sounds so sweet...:)

Neverless I think this one is a real steal. Poor mans Sylenth1 *cough* pricewise. Maybe not optimized but for the price its a bargain.

Thanks to this thread I realized how "yummy" this one sounds again. So juicy.

Glad you liked it. Gonna contact the dev if he could and would optimize it any further. The last update is a little bit dated unfortunately. But in the end it is all about "FREEZE" for me to save CPU cycles.

I think there are some good synths, but not sure if all of them meets the OP's criteria:

- SynthMaster : 2.7 is stable and can be as simple or as complex as you want. Filters are very nice indeed, many kind of synthesis, sounds really good with not much cpu (2.7 has lower than 2.6). Price right now $74

- Sunrizer : Low cpu and Rolandish lovely sound. There are some limitations but overall is a nice one if you don't like the protection of Retrologue. Serial protected.

- Arturia SEM V : Great synth IMO. I got it for less than $50 from the market place. Arturia also did a discount on it some time ago ($50). It has up to 5 manageable activations with a friendly management software.

- Korg Mono/Poly : I love this synth. Great sound with low cpu usage. The only drawback IMO is the small GUI, but in my 27" I don't have a big problem. For a laptop of 1366x768 it would be OK, but for higher resolution in smaller than 27", it would be a problem really. The protection is using the korg usernet website to register your soft and then generating the activation code which depends on the computer you are runnning (easy activation, I have it installed more than 4 times in different computers and didn't have a problem in the activation, so I don't know what is the limitation of that). Only $50 is a bargain.

- Korg MS-20 : Great synth for $50! Great sound and it can be complex with those cables. The GUI is scrollable and that is very annoying. If you don't have a problem with the GUI, then this is a killer deal!

- LinPlug Alpha : Now it is for $20. A no brainer deal. Nice sounds but the above are more analog sounding than Alpha. Still, a very nice synth with low cpu usage.

- Waves Codex : I know it is a wavetable, but it has a very nice sound and can be similar to Elements or any subtractive synth. The problem is the protection that allows you either to put the license in one machine, or any usb pen drive. Otherwise you can keep the license in the cloud. I put it in a usb drive which acts like a dongle. I saw this one for $50 in the market place! I got mine also for $50 from Waves directly after 50% discount and $50 voucher. It also can consume more cpu than the above synths (sometimes up to 35% or more from my i5 quad). It has a great sound though ;)
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Don't forget that Audio Damage's Basic is a mono-synth.

Are you interested in a synth that can't play chords? There's no demo to try so be aware.

ACE...

If you leave the default routing, it is easy, sounds great, quite capable and fits your criteria and then some.

One main window (second 'tweak' page but main essential are all on the one page)
2 Oscillators (which can also be LFO's)
plus 2 LFO's that can also function as full Osc's
between the 4 you have the waveforms you asked for
PWM, Cross-Mod, Hard Sync, Soft Sync, Ring Mod, some FM, filter FM, filter feedback, unison and more
Sync to host
2 filters each with 2 outputs LP6, LP12, LP18, LP24 on one output and HP, BP, BR on the other.
serial #
$85

ACE is stable, just updated and you can count on ongoing development for years to come, resizeable GUI looks good on any screen and lots of good presets.

Later, after you are familiar with it, you can start to re-wire it and open a whole nother sonic range. It is one of the best synths you can buy at any price and its got heft.

Audjoo Helix is exactly 75$ and should suit your needs.

Thanks for your tips.

I tried Synthmaster demo few times, but never felt in love with this synth (same with CM/BE version). I know that sounds really good, but there is something that I can't express properly... but I don't like this plugin in general.

ACE is more modular synth IMO. Connecting cables is not my favorite activity, but will try demo version.

Sunrizer really impressed me! Just testing demo and it seems, that it covers almost what I need.

Arturia SEM also looks promising!

Definitely looking for a poly synth with mono/legato option. All monosynths are in my eyes like unfinished plugins (Cyclop users will hate me for this opinion).

BTW: TAL NoiseMaker is great free plugin. Much better that Elek7ro - it has effect section, new engine, and it also shows knob values, but there are still 2 visible tabs and two hidden. :? I like everything in front of my eyes.

If I have to choose between NoiseMaker and Synth1/Charlatan/FreeAlpha and other freeware plugins I will always choose NoiseMaker.

Why not just stick to Noisemaker then? Looks like it fits all you were asking for.

Hello, chk071. Good question. It's good, but I don't use any freeware VST instrument (except ErsDrums) because I'm focused to payware plugins at the moment. I'm just curious if there is commercial plugin I'm looking for. Simple and clean one window analogue/subtractive polyphonic synth plugin (just like Harmless) but with all basic waveforms for each (at least 2 Osc) with Noise waveform too + these waveforms for LFO too (+ S&H) with host sync. Extra FX like reverb/chorus/delay are not really necessary.

I know, that I can load waveforms to Harmless, but it has only 1 Osc and you can't load noise waveform. "White noise" from Harmless sucks. There's also no S&H LFO.

BTW, NoiseMaker has "secret tabs", because you can see only 2 of 4 (Synth1/Synth2/Envelope Editor/Control).

If someone thinking, that I'm spammer, I will lock this topic. If you recommended me all plugins that can all I'm looking for, I will lock this topic and choose one of them. It's simple. Thanks for your help.

Not saying you're a spammer or anything mate, all good. :) I again recommend Steinberg Retrologue then, it seems to fit your description the best. Only $50 or 50 €. It requires soft eLicenser though, if you're cool with that.

Sounds really good (on youtube vids) and looks cool too. There are lot of modulation possibilities and lot of different filtres too. Perfect! But how does eLicenser works? I prefer serial numbers or key file protection. BTW, I have no internet connection on my "music PC".

Ah, i see. You can't use the soft eLicenser without an internet connection: https://www.steinberg.net/en/support/kn ... ml#offline Only USB-eLicenser will work, but i guess you wouldn't want to buy one just for Retrologue. Maybe Sunrizer will be a better choice then, as has been proposed earlier.

Sunrizer FTW

You can only install Retrologue in one computer with the soft e-licenser. The usb dongle is useful if you want to store the license in it and then use the synth on any computer.

Although I have it in one computer, I'm thinking to buy a dongle so I can use it in my laptop. Yes, it is that good with very low CPU usage. It sounds really big and I like it more than sunrizer for those Jupiter's pads ;)

Well then focus in on this awesome deal.......

Yes some have tabs and they require the Pace E-Licenser but for a couple of dollars more than your $75 you get three awesome synths. You might want to focus on the sound of a plugin instead of whether it uses a tabbed interface or not. Otherwise you're eliminating so many great synths from your arsenal.......

All three of these synths alone are easily worth the $79.60 asking price for the bundle.......
