Would be cool also with single clips whose automation has the same values at the boundaries as the "automation environment" where the clip is dropped.volker@bitwig wrote:FIXED - Moving multiple continuous clips with "automation follows clips" activated creates unnecessary automation dots at the boundaries of the clips.

I have to report that after installing the 1.3.6 version i'm still getting this nasty bug with audio events deleted when i add a new one to a clip : see video right there :
So unfortunately, it's really hard to use bitwig for the moment, at least for me, so bad because i bought the license only 5 days ago and i'm unable to use the software (that has some other really cool features that i like by the way ) and it's really REALLY frustrating...

Sadly i had to immediately revert to 1.3.5 as this latest version seems to have issues with my audio interface.. I was getting lots of pops, crackling and audio slurring even after changing a few settings.

Yep i noticed that as well, but seriously, am i going to start all audio clips on all tracks (i usually work with up to 40 or even 50 tracks) at the beginning ? it's very frustrating...i would really like to hear about it from the devs.

I want more smart for pencil, like holding a modifier when putting in note or hold note after putting it in and press a key that is programmed as modifer, you could move note up and down and left and right instead of velocity and length, as a modifier! PLS

Absolutely! I have a selection of 64 bars of chords - trying to marquee select them as in your example grinds my 4.6Ghz i7 to a halt. It's the reason why I have temporarily abandoned Bitwig. I can copy the same data in Cubase 10 times over and still select it all no problem. :/xbitz wrote:next should be the clip selection speed, it's still super slow (win7x64, Corei7-3770CPU@3.4GHz) if put them "more than 10" midi notes
thx for the update!!!

Mine does this after i've trashed the preferences... it's as if bitwig is doing something quite intensive in the background. It's doing it right now actually.xbitz wrote:next should be the clip selection speed, it's still super slow (win7x64, Corei7-3770CPU@3.4GHz) if put them "more than 10" midi notes

Last time it happened to me i contacted support for a moan, but then it fixed itself after i left it a few minutes. Hope it does the same this time.
EDIT!!!!
Ok it seems the culprit is actually full screen mode!! When i put bitwig into full screen mode it becomes totally unresponsive and sluggish!!! Will report to support now. Macbook pro 2015 OsElCapitan

I guess they removed it because it became redundant, since you can do it the way Volker describes belowcodec17 wrote:What!? This doesnt make sensetakaii wrote:Actually a bit pissed that they totally remove object selection modifier holding CTRL with pencil in editor! Really bad move... IMO![]()

volker@bitwig wrote:You can use key "1" as a modifier to temporarily switch to object selection tool. If you hold the key it acts as a temporary modifier and switches back to the previous tool after releasing. If you press and immediately release the key it acts as a switch. The same goes for the other timeline tools (keys 2, 3, ...).
has anyone see Maitake ?
