Thanks for that tip. I found I could implement new meta controls from the mux that the poly synth module was dropped into....however it has dawned on me after much thinking and a few failed attempts that it is beyond my imagination how to implement an aftertouch control to cutoff when it is already being controlled any other silders. The effect of aftertouch needs to be proportional to the position of the slider but you can only send an exact figure (6000hz for example) and not a linear value to effect the position of the cutoff. On the CS80 the control messages were in volts and were therefore just summed with the existing value. If anyone knows a get around for this I would love to know it
This problem also presents itself with the brilliance control which has had to be dumbed down to an end of line low pass filter.
Never the less this synth still does sound really nice, so If you need awesomely thick timbres such as those used by Vangelis you'll probably be happy with it
I have decided to leave out the aftertouch. This will have to be the FS80 MK1, until perhaps the mux is upgraded to allow this very technical type of control.

It shows different amounts of modulation from different places adds up the total applied to the end result.
I have made sure the total doesnt go over 100 % using Metaparameters

First of all, hi to you all, i'm new here after having discovered just a week ago this brilliant and amazing piece of software called MuLab
and having bought a license for it ...
Having said this, i can't get the patch
When i click on the link at the beginning of this thread all i get is the MS One Drive login page
... First i thought that it was because i have the 'NoScript' add-on installed in Firefox, but Safari (without add-ons) gives the same result
... So, any hint to get at it? as i would like to give it a try ...
BTW FSM77, looking forward for tomorrow to get a copy of FS80 ... It sounds really GREAT!
And of course, thanks a lot for sharing your hard work with all of us!

The link above is to my dropbox. You will find the FS80 in there and the others I have already made. I will be putting all my mux patches in this folder
The FS80 can make some really beautiful textures but you'll need to experiment with the IL AL ADR envelopes if you've never used them before. The architecture is closely based on the CS80 so there's plenty of demonstrations on Youtube to give you an ideas of how is works if you're not sure.....()
Any questions just drop me a line

Thanks a lot for your quick answer FSM77!
... I've checked your 3 synths in a hurry because i must leave now, but they all sound great, you've made a great job!
... I'll play deeper with them when i come back home, but in the meantime i left you a note in the FS80 thread about a ¿possible bug?
...
And sure i will watch the videos you recommend me, because as i've said in my other post, i'm always eager to learn new things (in all the fields of life)
...
Kind regards - Pep (Josep)

Please try to download the MIN-E-MUX again, I have given it a pitch bend control now. But I am still trying to figure out how to change the amount of pitch bend with a front panel controller because the 'PB range' parameter doesn't seem to do anything! I've had to use the 'Pitch Range' parameter which is not connectible to the front panel. I'll try to figure it out this week.

thank you! gotta work out how to make stuff in mux. is there a common drop box? have made a few decent sounds with your synth i could share. it sounds really great. i have been using roland's sh2 plug in a lot recently , which is fantastic, but this synth you made is easily as good for bass sounds

Hi I don't know about a common drop box but I just created one anywayplutonia wrote:thank you! gotta work out how to make stuff in mux. is there a common drop box? have made a few decent sounds with your synth i could share. it sounds really great. i have been using roland's sh2 plug in a lot recently , which is fantastic, but this synth you made is easily as good for bass sounds
If you send your email address to my email address (mrteebee@outlook.com) I can invite you to share the drop box I have made (this applies to anyone who wants to join of course). You will need to create a drop box account (if you don't already have one) and we can share mux creations very easliy that way. I was also thinking about sharing new sounds too. I used to own a few Roland synths so you might like to play with one of my new prototypes creations 'JUNO STYLE' which is now in my existing dropbox. There are also the 'RENEGADE' , 'MONOLOGUE' and the 'BITSYNTH' new in there too. Plenty to play with
