Thanks for explanation ¿Jo?, which allows me to improve my knowledge about synthesizers

On the other hand, i've checked already in Windows MUX-VST + Reaper with the same results ... Then i came back to Mac and lowered the Release value not to 20 but just to 5 (Show Modular Area-->Edit R Metaparameter) as you and FSM77 suggested ... Weeell, same result if there's a continuous flux of notes (i.e. if you don't give time for notes to release) :(

A question to FSM77 what if you disconnect the second oscillator in the Modular Area? Does it behaves the same? ...
I'll try it (if i'm able to find what modules i have to disconnect  )

You can also simply slide the release slider ;)

Of course, it's not specificly about the 20 secs or 5 secs, it's about the number of synth notes (=synth voices) that are playing at the same time. Of course the longer the release time the higher the chance polyphony will stack up. The more voices the more CPU.

Sure , but the thing is that i want to have this synth functional somehow because i like its sound ...

So i checked different values and if i set Release to a maximum of 2 (1,99 in MUX sintax) all goes well (if you're not an octopus keyboardist able to play thousand notes in a second, of course :D ) ... Doing that i can have at least some release without being worried about CPU overload.

Mutools are correct that your dealing with many oscillators all at once . Your max could be 9 osc per note if you use the noise and the ring mod. Its a polyphony eater so go easy on the release times is good advice. The cs80 was only 8 note poly anyway!!

I will reduce the fs80 to a single line version and upload it tomorrow. It will then resemble a Yamaha CS50 :) if you want to edit the mux that's ok too. But just switching off the second two oscillators should help anyway

This is the new FS50 which is a cut down version of the FS80. It can be downloaded from my existing dropbox link :)
