finally it's there. My first impressions from the trialversion:
- new look: very sexy!
- new brouser functions - very helpful and creativ!
- new audio editing possibilities: very practical!
- MIDI - unfortunately insufficient: No List Events View. Program changes continues to be displayed as a line. Why not like system exclusive as points? I have the impression the target user of Tracktion are no keyboard player with extensive MIDI equipment.

My overall impression: still the same tracktion with some nice cool and helpfull improvements. Very pleasant for audiorecording and editing. For comfortable MIDI-editing still need for other daws.

program canbe changhed between markers or onwhole midi clip in menu right now. nice feautre.

I love the new audio fx possibilites. Tracktion is much more basic than reaper but it is verz creative daw right now. but i miss a midi clips. is there any way how to move points between auotmatiyation of different plugins? thanks

Horizontal line for finding same value of automatization points would be also very nice.

Downloaded the T7 demo.

Default color scheme makes app almost unreadable.

Cannot find the Color Scheme Editor under Settings.

Does anyone know how to load in a readable color scheme?

THIS!! I spent 30mins fiddling with it last night before eye-strain forced me to turn it off.

Thank you for the link, sir. None of these pages are linked from the "My Downloads" page, which gives me a message saying I own no downloadable products despite having been a Tracktion owner since v2. Is there some other way I should be able to find these download pages? I'd have been lost without your help.

I gotta say it seems pretty buggy to me. With the transport collapsed,
nothing works from it. It refuses to update any changes unless I open it
and close it a few times. If I don't do that it can actually report and load
2 different sets of master track plugins per state.

I don't understand why they refuse to do the Beta thing with a new version.
That way folks wouldn't get upset at buying a new DAW that's really unusable
for serious work.

I think there are beta testers and T7 works fine for most people. Particularly with Windows PCs there's a range of versions of Windows, a range of hardware (PCs, interface devices, etc, etc), and there's always going to be some combination that didn't get tested. You could volunteer to be a beta tester for T8 if they're taking on more beta testers.

yes, looked up page two. t6 is not there also for me.
sent a support ticket, guess they have to add it manually. still a bit of a mess the new website.

it took me 10 minutes!!! to find out how to buy my upgrade from t6 to t7.
it's only available from the t7 productpage via "buy now".
not via account, not via marketplace while logged in ...

Best Tracktion ever . A couple issues ,1 .had to re find my keyfiles for Valhalla plugins no biggie . 2. When Transport is smaller it , some of the, make tracks fit screen and different things don't seem to work right . No show stoppers bugs found yet . Many many many improvements , this is the best update.
