Possible sigs: "You'll get cool edit pro over MY dead body!" or maybe "cool edit pro is dead as the chicken I ate last week"
And? I just answered his question. Now troll elswhere or preferably post a cat pic like usual.

That's bad to hear. Win 10 compatibility especially for older stuff is really a problem lately.

Well, so far I've not found any place where I can get either any version of Cool Edit or the first version of Adobe Audition.

So it looks like it's a dead end

I found a floppy of Cool Edit 95 in a box, I think I bought it via CompuServe...
And a floppy with Sound Forge XP.
Even two floppies with "Fauve Matisse" - the first graphics software to have layers (before photoshop).
And Kais Power Tools...

Ah - those were the days... :-)

Cheers,

Tom

Neither do i. Why do you think OP could meant cool edit 2ch when he already answered before you that he want to get a hold on Cool Edit Pro 2.1 resp Adobe Audition?
cause I misunderstood your "nope"

I think I have a drive somewhere - but I can't imagine the disks still work.

That's worrying !
I've a pile of 3.5" floppies. Not only for the computer I'd at the time. But also for my Roland D-20 sequenzer.

Today I'm sotrign stuff on a hard drive. Heaven knows if I'll be able to use that in the future...

Are you the expert on everything Cool Edit then

The OP just states Cool Edit is wanted, the other post doesn't say anything specific about version.

I'd no idea there was USB floppy drives. They seems to be pretty cheap too. I think I'll take a closer look on this. Thanks ! :tu:
