Purging of HPC doesn't work

Back on topic: despite Ben's promise that topics which haven't been posted in for more than 7 days are toasted, this does not happen. It's agains my principles to make screenprints for proof, but the post dangling at the bottom currently is dated (last post ofcourse) Aug 4. Or look for yourself what our residential necromaniac dug up:

I don't know whether we have a manual or automatic purging machine, but it doesn't function. Or is it set to something else than 7 days? Then the rule needs to be changed accordingly. It's called getting your act together...
