I think this may be a T7 bug that we've now fixed. Please try again in the next release.

Can Tracktion split a midi input into a few channels? [SOLVED] (Virtual Midi inputs)

Awesome so the answer to my original post is yes it can split. I wasn't sure how virtual midi inputs worked, wasn't sure it was a bug so I'll just call this solved!
