Professional technicians are assessed by the abilities they possess.
Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.

That provides a nice historic perspective for those amongIngonator wrote:... for me it was obvious to try reprogramming Prophet 5 presets with Repro-1...
the Pro One deprived crowd, like me. It's nice to get some hardware synth background to layer on the new projects, especially when
the new synth sound so fine!
Cheers

here's a handful of sequenced bass patches:
they're all set to "play", just send them a MIDI note (C3 for example) to start them running. got a bit lazy with the fx, they mostly all use similar settings. used sequencer velocity on both Perform slots to automate some parameters.
("Groover" started out as a modified version of Funkybot's "Low Seq" patch, then i made the others from that. just made some slight adjustments to the fx on a few of them.)

I don't get it why you shouldn't mention different products.
The sense of these forums is to get an overview of what's available and discussing it.

I'm glad Ingo shares his knowledge and views here.

Well, in this case i did not even "discuss" that other synth here but i mentioned i used it as a reference for reprogramming the patches in Repro-1 (besides other sources i had mentioned). It would have been wrong not to mention this and people could get a wrong impression that i had used the real thing a s a reference instead (which i was only able to do as patch sheets and audio demos at Synthmania).Arrested Developer wrote:And in the legend thread he is getting attacked for mentioning Repro.david.beholder wrote:Ingo couldn't pass by a thread without mentioning Arturia.![]()

More good stuff in there. Thanks! That simple chromatic sequence sounds awesome with the delay, and that theremin patch is incredibly musical and fun.Gucky wrote:Hello,
