I don't think so. Either I misunderstood, was in a timewarp, or ghetto knows something we don't.

Found the link from another forum. Use the coupon code MB3-BLACK-FRIDAY

Sorry about that, I clicked a link from a direct email and the discount was already in the cart, I didn't realize that if you came to it from the storefront that you wouldn't get the discount without a coupon.

The $29 Black Friday is fer' the XT-SC Spectral Compressor. When downloading the demo fer' Mixbus or Mixbus32C it's like a cart checkout with name, address, email, etc... filed out, but no payment info 'cause the cart's $0.00. Download the 32C demo and a week or so later you'll get an email fer' Mixbus @ $39.00 instead of $79, that's how I 1st bought it. 32C version 3.7 is running fine here on Windows 10 Pro, 4790K w/32Gb of RAM and an RME HDSP 9652 into an Avid Omni and using a Behringer X-Touch (way better that 3.6). Fer' $39 it's worth the chance. YMMV!

Oh, it's cool, was just trying to get to the bottom of it. All good.

Very stable and I use it on windows and Linux
On linux it's a killer app. Best audio daw bought since Samplitude. Devs are really brilliant. Now waiting for Mixbus4 as it's based on ardour5.

mini-neckro :hihi:

It's not for me. Might play with 4 when it comes out but 3 was a mess personally.

It doesn't work so well on this cheapy core i3 laptop I got with win 10 on it.
I would guess that mixbus works better with a fair amount of horsepower
behind it. It works like a champ on my core i7 desktop ( win 8 ), but I don't get the
impression its an OS thing, definitely cpu. For me anyway...

Post

i3? I don't :hihi: I can see that as they are miserably under powered.

Its not so bad really, it runs live, reason, reaper, renoise and bitwig amazingly well.
Mulab doesn't even break a sweat in it. Amazingly efficient DAW there.

Its actually a really good chip for its price, way better than similar class AMD
offerings. Even with 1/2 the number of cores.

I'm glad :)

But yeah a toggle would be nice.
.
I subscribe to Ardour even though I haven't used it in awhile and unless I'm getting senile (which might be the case :)) I think there were toggle buttons on both of them in the last Ardour version, which should be the new MixBus version.
