I was certainly not promoting ProTools. I use it everyday for audio but Avid is laughable in terms of update plans and pricing, everyone in the industry knows that. Forcing people to work in 32 bits till the start of 2014 (PT 11) was the single most insane thing I have ever seen anyone do in the industry. Offline bounce was such a luxury that the users didn't even mention it back then lolpakunoda wrote:It was quite a funny quote actually, because Pro Tools got offline bouncing in version 11, a feature I really liked in Rave eJay back in the late 90s. So I am quite hopeful for Bitwig to grab the TEC award one day :*)

Congrats Bitwig!! It's good to see some love from the industry for you guys!!

...If you have to fix it with a computer: quantized, pitch corrected, and overly inspected, then you can't do it, and I can't get behind that!

And the best modulation system of any DAW which with 2.0 gets better, more modular and flexible... and with 2.0 it can be per voice modulation! That is groundbreaking stuff right there!sisarii wrote:
On the other hand even if there was any competition bitwig would still come out on top, its so ahead of the competition, offering crossfades as a flagship feature in 2017.
