Is that still the plan? They have older UIs too that might benefit from some Zebra 2.8 type love, and you have so many filter algorithms now for Filterscape.
Yes. Some stuff for MFM is done. The UI update is in draft stage. Filterscape too IIRC.

UI design will happen during breaks, once done we will converge with additional development.

Boat arrives at venue. Will check back later.

Thanks for the update. Have (another) good day. Hope you've got your voice back :)

How soon can we preorder the Repro-1 upgrade? I was expecting well over a year's wait.
Intel Core2 Quad CPU + 4 GIG RAM

There'll be some kind fo introduction offer once it goes beta. Today my brain is too fried to even remember what the estimate was.

Almost the most exciting news from 'Booth for me, even as a terminal hardware enthusiast lol.

I know I'll never justify buying a real Prophet 5 even though I could, so this will be a great addition to my plugin arsenal. I know it'll be close enough for me that the itch will be gone.

Or it'll make the itch stronger.......

Looks pretty impressive. I have a Wavedrum which I use from time to time, but it has no MIDI out. It uses a mic beneath the surface that goes through DSP processing to influence the generated sounds. It also has pressure sensitivity, it will hear nails sliding on the real drum skin. But the BopPad looks much more integrated to today's scene, and more flexible with its 4 distinct areas. One thing though, the USB connector on the device looks like a small one, might not be the best for a percussion instrument.

Urs, you mentioned that more filter models might be added to the Repro-5 (I assume different variants of the CEM filter, based on different reference synths). Will the Rev2 SSM2040 make an appearance at some point as well?

You're pretty much killing any interest I had in a Prophet 6. All the little hacks built in are great.

Has there been any information as to weather Repro5 will offer the MPE style per-note PB and controllers like Diva, Ace, etc? Hope so! ;)

Urs mentioned in the Instruments forum that due to the scarcity of the SSM chips at the moment, he's not willing to go pull them out of his Rev2 for modeling purposes. However, he did point out that Behringer/Cool Audio are apparently going to be reissuing those chips. If so, that may mean that a Rev2 for the Tweaks page is a real possibility for the future.

So short term answer: no. Long term: possibly.

Thanks. Or maybe a P5r2 with a functioning voicecard that's otherwise trashed will offer to sacrifice itself to Ur-She, the goddess of synthesis and resurrection.

Awesome, this is exciting. These chips are great for DIY stuff.

So, yesterday I went to Dave Rossum for a bit of a chat. When I apologized for maybe having to make a model of the 2040 he laughed (well, when does this man not have the happiest face on earth?) and offered to help out if I had questions.

P6 has a lot to offer and feels phantastic. C'mon, you want it!
