That's pretty unfair. Some workflow changes important for me:SLiC wrote:Funny, I was thinking that this was an underwhelming update for the big 10. There is a lot of 'stuff' there, but I was realty expecting more DAW features rather than new instruments (as fun as that wavetable synth looks, I have Serum, Avenger, Falcon etc), maybe I have just skim read it and there is a lot more I am missing...but I don't see any new 'killer' feature or workflow, just more stuff.
don't think "Ableton Live 10 will be officially launched in the first quarter of 2018."Stan Navi wrote:Youtube explodes now with ton of video of Live 10.
Funny that you mention that. I'm in a big Facebook group of ableton live users and i made a poll back in September asking the community what they wanted in A10.dermage wrote: Yes there are good new features and improvements, but one of the basic things (VST3) in my eyes should be there and needs to come, otherwise Ableton will lose customers i guess.
All major DAWS have this feature in the meantime, I don't understand what the problem is.
"Today, Ableton announced the release of its hotly anticipated Live iteration, Ableton Live 10. The Berlin-based company is releasing Live 10 as a public beta, with a final release scheduled for February 2018."pekbro wrote:Live 10 public beta has started, you can get in the cue now.
Just sayin...
On the other side your poll may have not been representative about Ableton Live users overall.Spencer Maddox wrote:Funny that you mention that. vST3 support was quite literally at the bottom of the list. The top results being piano roll enhancements, fixing the infamous pitch glitch, etc.
I don't think as many people care about it as you think they do. I mean that respectfully of course. It would be nice to have but I never Even use vst3 honestly. I imagine many are the same.
