Do you mean jmg8's code insert above?

Select it all (click and drag through it all), copy it, click a spare A...H button, then click the Paste button

Enjoy!
Very elegant, jmg8. Nicely done!

But for someone new to Melda plugins, I think presets are crucial for showing some of the capabilities of these plugs and it gives us newer guys a good place to start while we're mixing.

The disconnect with the Preset Exchange is that newer users actually USE Presets, but newer users are the last ones who should be creating Presets for the often very complex plugins.
Actually I have thought about it a few times and when I see Alexis1 not using the plugins just because of this (which seems extreme to me, but what do I know...), I'm even more inclined to do that. Or maybe I'll just make it free again and let it live its live... Then if people won't create presets, nobody would blame it at least :D. Well, I'm sure people will find a way to blame me :D, but still...

Just make it free please. At first I understand why you encouraged people to submit, but now there are already quite a few presets on there. The more experienced of us could make more of an effort to upload some good stuff, what do you say guys?
I promise to add lots of new great presets and will notify here in the forums as I do so. I was thinking of creating a dedicated thread so we can tell others when we add a new preset to prompt them to go and get it.

Yes, please. :D
I can't lie to you about your chances, but... you have my sympathies.

Haha! No doubt.

This sounds great! I just have 1 request regarding this: Can the presets be sub-grouped under the username who created them? That way, there is some sort of organization to them, plus, we can concentrate on the user presets that we like and not wade through a bunch of useless ones. And a BIG THANKS in advance to you guys willing to share your presets!!

Just an idea: what about to introduce a voting (e.g. five-star rating) mechanism into the preset exchange? Although I admit I do not use it myself in Cubase MediaBay, I think that for sharing and judging the presets among many users it would actually make perfect sense to me. Moreover, the presets with a significant number of down-votes could be trashed automatically.

What do you think about this idea?

KVR has a "preset voting system"? Would you mind posting a link?

I agree it would be nice to have preset creators name there. Then if you like that creator you can look for their other presets too.

I think it would also encourage creators too, as they'd get a 'following'. Think of all that glorious internet fame!

I do support it going free though. I'd upload a few presets too in this case as I could see what 'gaps in the market' there were that my presets could fill.

This is my favorite idea. There is no reason not to make them freely available as far as I can see. I am happy to share any I think might be useful just to help people out. Especially as someone who is a heavy user of one of the less popular ones (MModernCompressor), I am not likely to see much activity in the preset exchange.

Meldaproduction effects are hands down the deepest on the market; I've been using MCompressor for over a year and only recently discovered that it has sidechain filtering. Presents are essential for finding my way around.

Although there is also no reason to abandon the preset sharing system for those who wish to use it.

Ok, so I'm a bit tired of all this, so from next version the preset exchange will be free without the need to submit a preset. So you'll be on your own :D.
