Okay, I'll take a second look. So all I need to do is get the issue and the Bazille tut videos become available for download? Rather, is it I have to watch the vids in an embedded player or app?carrieres wrote:you just need to buy this issue (CM232) for 4€ no subscription !

Still, for 12€ ($15) for one month you get 7 hours of tutorials on Bazille, Diva and Zebra, plus tens of other tutorials on other synths, plugins, music theory, composition, etc... for a month at Groove3. So if one feels like spending a month leaning stuff, and has the time and the will to do so, it's not that bad of a deal.carrieres wrote: you just need to buy this issue (CM232) for 4€ no subscription !

Sure, sounds good! I simply can't watch the videos if an embedded/app player is called for, which (undoubtedly) only works upon Win/Mac. Do you know if this is the case?mevla wrote:Still, for 12€ ($15) for one month you get 7 hours of tutorials on Bazille, Diva and Zebra, plus tens of other tutorials on other synths, plugins, music theory, composition, etc... for a month at Groove3. Last time I bought CM (via gplay), the vids could be downloaded in mp4 format.lunardigs wrote:Okay, I'll take a second look. Dunno if this is still the case.

Groove3 works as a web site. So if a web browser can play youtube material there's a good chance for it to be able to play Groove3 videos. For me it works with firefox in both Linux Mint 17 and 18. The videos can also be bought for $20. What I did is that I followed the course trying things out on Bazille at the same time, saving test patches, and taking notes.lunardigs wrote:Sure, sounds good! He he, just got this from Harrison a minute ago. Groove3 is doing a mix contest with Harrison Mixbus32C/Mixbus and 1-year/1-month accesses to Groove3 as prizes.

Okay, if it's delivered via HTML5, then downloading the videos (mp4, etc.) should be possible.Chris-S wrote:Last time I bought CM (via gplay), the vids could be downloaded in mp4 format.lunardigs wrote:Okay, I'll take a second look. for linux users,
wget -c --tries=0 --retry-connrefused --waitretry=1 actual-url-of-whatever
This above command can help those with slow internet,
or facing a daft server on the other end,
you can start and then pause a download in a browser,
right-click on the paused item to copy it's url,
and paste that after the command
or install youtube-dl, and copy the location part of the listing,
and command, like
youtube-dl
Cheers
