OE has a lot of good presets but also latency. I use it as a fast way to enhance samples, and then bounce them.SparkySpark wrote:Still wondering if OE has any value

I had some PIB Virtual Cash, so got the Plug-in for free. Can't argue with that.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Anyone know how long this deal is supposed to last?zzz00m wrote:This >>> https://www.pluginboutique.com/articles/1392Local Man wrote:What is this supposed Izotope elements deal all about?
I hadn't seen anything about that (though I get so much Izotope spam, I tend to ignore the name when I see it now).
*Edit: to be clear, I am talking about the Izotope deal, not the sonivox deal. Thanks.

So despite the grim warnings, I decided to give this a try (in order to get the Izotope deal).
And you know what? I like it!
It's a fun little cryptic, soundscape generator.
Not the kind of thing I would pay good money for, but for $2 I think it will have its uses.
I recommend giving it a try if you are on the fence.
Ozone elements is very nice too by the way.

I'm curious to see if I'm the only weirdo who likes this thing.

Is Twist really a 1 GB download or have I misunderstood things?

It's an entry level version of the Ozone mastering tools. OE lists at full retail for $129 USD. So they are probably hoping that you will upgrade to Ozone 8 Advanced for $250 USD.SparkySpark wrote:
Still wondering if OE has any value: maximiser, EQ and stereo thingy... well maybe.Any thoughts on OE?
If you are not sending your project out for pro mastering, just drop OE on your master bus and you are a few clicks away from having a master ready for posting online at SoundCloud, or whatever.Effortlessly get your mixes radio- and streaming-ready with Ozone Elements. With best-in-class processing from Ozone 8, this new mastering plug-in enables you to achieve a full, rich, and loud final master with new assistive technologies like Master Assistant and the legendary Ozone Maximizer.

Sonivox has the worst customer service of any company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Avoid them at all costs.

Right, but for $2? If you can find a use for it, that's cheaper entertainment than a latte from Starbucks.Russell Grand wrote:Sonivox has the worst customer service of any company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Avoid them at all costs.
