my impression as well. now it's an EQ with color add-on's etc.sinkmusic wrote: Sun Nov 25, 2018 2:14 pm Interesting : so it's a clean digital equalizer at its core, with some "coloration" features ontop, that's it (from what I remember, the first version was mainly a preamp/color/saturation device) ?
Am I missing something, or is there no full size screenshot of the GUI (i know, it's resizeable, but still, i can only see a tiny dwarfy screenshot, and no PDF manual to check) ?
It seems to be a nice plugin !

Highly underrated company! Clipshifter for example is one of the most versatile clipping plugins. Toned-MAX looks great, feature-wise as well as the user interface. A versatile EQ plus analog input and output stages = perfect combination.

Thanks for everyone that has tried out Toned-MAX. I also appreciate some of the requests and bug reports. For anyone that has had issues, there is a new build uploaded to the website.

1 - I will work on this.
2 - I think I know what is happening here. The Autogain was designed for full mixes. I think the drum is effectively causing the Autogain to pump like a compressor and clicking is the result. I have some ideas.
3 - I'm all over this one.

There is a new build uploaded to the website that addresses these 3 issues. I am hopeful that the crackling is fixed. I have tested with Reaper on Windows & Mac, and Logic and Studio One 3 on an aging Mac. Both worked without notable problems.
Let me know if this is the fix, or if I need to do some more digging.

This one stumps me? Are you checking with something like VST Plugin Analyser? The bump might be the result of the analog modeling. The frequency response is not completely flat with the analog modeling turned on.Vortifex wrote: Tue Nov 27, 2018 4:03 pm Sorry but I've just discovered another issue: if you select the Low Pass filter and set it to something like 24dB/36dB, change it to Analog LP, and then change it back to Low Pass again, it will actually boost the frequency between 9k-12k when you sweep through it. Same version/OS/DAWs as previous posts.
Could that be it?
